The first legal distillery on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, making its mark by distilling small-batch rum from the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Stripers Bar and Grille located in Manteo is an award-winning service-oriented 3-floor restaurant with every seat overlooking the water. The extensive food menu is enhanced by a large variety of wines, beers, cocktails and specialty drinks. 

Poor Richard's is a regular nighttime hangout in Manteo. Evening visitors congregate in the pub where they sip and swap stories over domestic and imported beers while overlooking downtown Manteo's bustle. Local and regional solo artists and bands make frequent appearances boosting the scene with nighttime entertainment.
